Mole automatically queries for available hosts and connects to the best one for you. It replaces 'bouncer', and is available for Unix and MS Windows. See <IUM> and http://www.mono.org/connect/mole.html.

mono.org System News:

Enigma's disk has died, so this machine is down. Enigma hosts many of the MUDs, and so these are currently unavailable.

New version of Mono software

A new version of the software has been in testing for some time. It clears up many of the old problems (see <IBP>). We hope to install it sometime in March 2000.

Website Associate programme: Amazon (book and CD Internet retailer)

Monochrome takes part in Amazon's Associate programme. Follow the links on Monochrome's pages to their sites and for any purchases you make, Monochrome will get a small percentage, at no cost to yourself! http://www.mono.org/amazon.html

Mono Equipment Fund <IF>

We've raised 215 pounds towards a new disk and controller for the server, which will more than double the current space. Our target is 340 pounds. Thanks go to amf, simmons and fm for this sum. Please contribute!
