elektronique - for the mind the heart and the feet

elektronique is a section devoted to all forms of "electronica" -- music which is wholly or primarily characterised by the use of electronic instrumentation, especially synthesisers and samplers (the latter where they are used to achieve effects beyond the scope of the instruments that they sample).

That's a long-winded way of saying that the section covers "dance music" of most varieties, and also other electronic music which has been around for a good while longer thanks to innovators like Jean-Michel Jarre, Brian Eno, Rick Wakeman and so on.

But dance music is our primary concern, along with its associated culture, so as well as talking about the latest music releases, we also have discussions about DJing, and an entire subsection about clubbing and club culture. Plus there's links to files about making your own electronica.
