As of 26th October 2006, I have resigned my staff position and left Monochrome. It is very unlikely I will return, and I wish everyone there all the very best for the future.
Since my resignation, as far as I am aware there has been no progress with re-assigning my various sections. Why this is I do not care to speculate, but whatever the reason, it is indicative of the malaise that now afflicts your once great community.
I left because I got fed up with the way things had become. Simple as that. I hope that it’s not assumed to be because of one silly incident, and I made that very clear at the time. That was just the last straw that really convinced me it was a place that held no further interest for me, and that indeed caused more hassle than it was worth.
I am happy to report that I really haven’t missed Monochrome one bit - a feeling growing stronger with every passing month, especially now I am in business with my own projects and have plenty of paid work to keep me occupied. I am still in touch with many people from there, who helped me stay there for as long as I did, and long may those friendships continue.
