Day in the life of A. Spod VI: The Bracknell Meet ----------------------------- Friday 24th, 5:00 pm -------------------- It's day one of the Bracknell meet. Here's the itinery: Friday: 6 pm - 12 am Meet in the terminal room at Bracknell University (formerly Bracknell Polytechnic) Saturday: 12 - 8 am All night mud and talker session. It'll be great, everyone who is there will be logged on at the same time. 8 - 9 am Breakfast 9 am - 4 pm Sleep 4 - 5 pm gather at quazar centre and hang around outside 5 - 5:20 Quazar (10 pound each) 5:20 - 7 discuss quazar scores at Bilbo Baggin's Bar, Bracknell University 7 - 12 reconviene at terminal room. Sunday: 12 - 10 am All night mud and talker session. rest of day goodbyes People with places: Bracknell: 2 Bracknelle: 1 Braknel: 3 Brahc_knell: 24 Bracknull: 3 Bracnil: 4 Basingstoke: 8 People coming: Me, Nolife, Nintendo, Gratspod, Xfork, spoon, eggwhisk, astrafork, spacespoon, etherfork, ethernet, prolog, kentspod, Naylife, pspod, segaman, Spodfromhell, sonic, Sonofspod, Asteroids and Llamatron. Grat spod is the offictal 'quoter' who gets to write down and type in all the quotes from the meet. He has a lot of responsiblity. He must be ready with his pad and pen the moment somebody shouts "Quote!" We did ask Beanburger if he'd like to come to Bracknell, but he logged off and hasn't logged on since. As a back up we asked Kerdigan if he'd like to coma and say a few works, but he declined. We also tried Coldfission and Angel; plego and Angel; Bluemoose, Usquetrio and Initgoes, but they were all busy. I even asked Shagging even though she's going out with JB (Jeremy Beadle) now. Guest of honour is now Llamatron. He's not too big-headed to come to our meet. And he's promised to write the 'Bracknell Meet Rap.' ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunday 26, 6:00 pm ------------------ Sorry I haven't filled in anything during the meet but I've been having such an excelent time. The all-night talker sessions were excelent. Sheri was on and was just as if she was in the room with us, because everyone else in the room was on the talker too. It was wonderful, she gave me a hug. With asterisks round it. I wonder if she'll ever finish with psnow? Spodcentral was boasting that he'd got a '**huggles**', but I think a hug is worth much more than a huggle however many asterisks are round it. On Friday we played Udickmud, and on Saturday it was [] Quazar was brilliant. Xfork got the best score, but then he's such an athletic personality. I had a fgood aim at him, but didn't fire because I thought he'd already been shot in the neck by a paintball. Here are the quotes of the meet. I never had so much fun. But the high point for me was when Llamatrom unveiled the Bracknell Meet Rap. Yes we're back, back in Bracknell, It was organised by Brian Racknell We drank Irn Bru and we all logged on And me and Nolife wrote this song And to all those people who did not come I hope the talker crashes when you're next on That'll make us all laugh and sing Cos we're the Sad Posse and we'll always win The man is a genius.
